Spend Valentine’s Day with the Livermore Amador Symphony in this evening of musical romance! Hear Elgar’s musical love letter and immerse yourself in passionate music of Delius and Prokofiev inspired by the Shakespearean lovers Romeo and Juliet. Emerging artists Donghu Kim and Cara Wang take center stage as we feature two winners of our annual Competition for Young Musicians. Special attractions in the theater lobby include a free photo booth and a performance at intermission by teen jazz band Element 116 directed by Matt Finders. After the concert join Conductor Lara Webber and the musicians at a complimentary reception featuring a pairing of chocolates and Livermore Valley wines.
