Orange County’s Exclusive 2025-2026 TourWest Grantee: For the second consecutive year, the Southern California Philharmonic is proud to be named the sole awardee in Orange County, CA of the prestigious TourWest Grant – a distinction of artistic excellence supported by Creative West and the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts. Experience the Passion of Spain in the Heart of Newport Beach.
This Memorial Day Weekend, join us for an intimate chamber concert inspired by the traditional tablaos (flamenco salons) of Southern Spain. This world-class event features SCP’s own Conductor & Music Director, acclaimed violinist Branden Muresan, performing in a chamber ensemble of internationally renowned guest artists. Artists Branden Muresan - Violinist Erika López - Flamenco Dancer Eric Foster - Classical Guitarist Juan Moro - Classical Guitarist Note: Sounds of Spain is a chamber music concert featuring 3 musicians and 1 dancer; the full SCP orchestra does not perform at this special event.
